DAY 1

SANALI, PALANPUR

Rajmani High School

The very first school we visited was Rajmani High School, Sanali.This school was 18-20kms away from Palanpur.
The best part of this school was, girls from around 40 villages walked 5-10 kms to attend school.Hats off to their dedication and will to study.We touched 300 girls.Happiness knew no bounds after meeting the girls.
We had a great interactive session for 1hr 15mins with them on personal health and hygiene, grooming and safety issues. Spending time with these girls only made us realize, that our time was put to good use, in educating and in betterment of their lives.

HADAD, PALANPUR

Arunaben Patel Arvalli Higher Secondary Girls School

Day 1 of our 2nd Road Trip Continues to visit more rural villages.
The girls from Arunaben Patel Arvalli Higher Secondary Girls School, Hadad were so thrilled and excited to meet us. The one to one session for 1hr 15 min was fun filled and overwhelming. They were so curious to know about personal health and hygiene and how to take care of themselves, tips on grooming and self-defense.

CHITRASANI, PALANPUR

Shri Balaram Saghan kshetra Samiti

With positive response from the earlier schools, we headed to Shri Balaram Saghan kshetra Samiti in Chitrasani.
Here we addressed 50 girls about personal health and hygiene, grooming and self-defense in 1hr 15 min session. Personally spending time with them, brought into our notice how unaware were these girls about sanitary pad and educating them on this topic was a need of the hour which empowered them. After the distributions, we enjoyed playing garba with the girls. They were very happy with our visit.

DAY 2

PALANPUR

Rajiba School

we were Started with our second day from Shrimati Rajiba Kalidas Patel Girls School.
Since this time we aimed on educating, empowering girls with self defense we thought, why not by the expert powerful lady ACP Shahida Praveen ,Jammu Police herself. A very informative session for 1hr 15 min was conducted with 750 girls, real life stories were shared by ACP Shahida to inspire girls and was followed by distribution.

We should be very grateful to God to have given us everything, our hands, legs, face and brain to think positive thoughts.
But, there are few of them, who are differently abled. And we got one such opportunity to meet the children of one such handicap school were they are taught various new things.
Instead of their disability, they are putting in efforts to study and learn new things. We are so thankful to have met these children. It was a speechless experience to have spent time with them.

PALANPUR

Government Higher Secondary School of Palapur

 Today on the second day of our 2nd Road Trip 2018 of Women Health and Hygiene Project we touched around 300 girls in Government Higher Secondary School of Palapur.
We also brought in the awareness about personal health and hygiene, self-defense and groomin by 1hr 15min one to one session.They too, asked us their doubts and enjoyed our session.
Insulator for disposing sanitary pad was also facilitated to the school. We believe in educating girls which will then empower them which in turn will facilitate them

Another very active interaction with the girls of Vidhyamandir. The girls were very proud to meet us and learn self-denfense techniques.They become more aware on how to protect themselves and the other girls around them. It was wonderful to have spent time and educate, empower these lovely girls.

The last visit of Day 2 ends at the Matushri Kunvarbai Mahila Kanya Vidhyalay with an incredible session with the girls.

DAY 3

RAJKOT

Shrimati Sarojini Naidu Girls High School

 We traveled to Rajkot on the 3rd day of our 2nd Road Trip to conduct distribution. We distributed 1 blanket and pack of 3 months of sanitary pack, educated them on personal health and hygiene,why is it important to use a pad, how to use and dispose of these pads and grooming and how to do yoga. It was excellent spending time with these beautiful girls.

RAJKOT

Ma Anandmay Kanya, Radhanagar

We next, visited Ma Anandmay Kanya, Radhanagar Rajkot.
The girls here were so energetic and brilliant. Our session was very interactive. Here we touched 250 girls and spoke to them about the importance of using sanitary pad. Also we gave them tips on self-defense, yoga and acupressure points.

 A disabled child is capable of engaging himself in constructive things, and above all they are capable of progress.
We should be very thankful to God to have given us good health.
And we got one more such opportunity to meet the children of one such handicap school were they are taught various new things.
Instead of their disability, they are putting in efforts to study and learn new things. It's our pleasure to have met these children.
It was an amazing experience to have spent time with them.

We got an amazing opportunity to empower the powerful women of Rajkot Police Station. Just like them, making difference in the lives of women and girls around the world is what we aim at. Not only did we provide them with blanket and pads but also had a good question answer session.

JAMNAGAR

Spreading Awareness about health and hygiene to the women gives us such immense pleasure, that we can empower them to live healthy and better lives, especially to women who do not have any source to acquire knowledge from.

Women should also live a better life, while taking care of their family is what Hira Matushri thrives for. We are ensuring that girls and women no longer have to suffer.
Reaching out to the women, empowering and educating them on personal health and hygiene, grooming and self-denfense was a pleasure for us.

A.K. Doshi Vidyalaya (Day)

Yet another fun and an energetic session with the girls educating and empowering them, creating and spreading awareness about the importance of usage of sanitary pad during menstruation. Sowing seeds to live a healthy life, we taught them few tips on grooming and yoga.

Our day 4 began with educating and empowering girls at A.K.Doshi School about using sanitary pads during menstruation and its disposal. They were ecstatic to receive our kit and were very eager to know more from us on grooming and self-defense. Also, we told them to empower other women in their families and surroundings by sharing what they had learned from us today. Such positive sessions encourage us to do more throughout the day.

We also got an opportunity to visit a martyr family of Rameshbhai Jogal to pay tribute.
20yr old Rameshbhai Jogal is a Kargil veer shahid.
He was selflessly serving our country since past 2 years.
Young boys like Ramesh sacrifice their life to protect us.
They are doing their bit for our country India. Lets join hands together and do our bit as well.

Educating 1400+ girls in Jamnagar! A mindblowing experience. Talking to these girls for 1hr 15min on their personal health and cleanliness in a fun way, discussing about grooming themselves and also about self-defense. We gave them tips to take care and live a healthy life. They were empowered by our session and also add immediately started implementing tips and tricks given to them for their betterment.
